  • Guest：Spacious place but the kitchenette had a stale stench. Could have more hooks to hang towels and clothes in toilet. Cleaner forgot to replenish toilet paper and didn’t remove rubbish. Nice touch to give kids amenities.
  • Guest：Ascott ICC Guangzhou — very disappointing. I previously stayed at another hotel that was almost half the price, yet the service there was far better and the staff had much stronger service mind. At Ascott ICC, the only staff members who were consistently polite and professional were the front desk staff on the 1st floor, who greeted guests every time we passed by, and the housekeeping staff, who were by far the most courteous. The rest of the staff were disappointing lacking service mind and providing poor service overall. Apart from the location, there was nothing else that stood out positively. I will not be returning to stay here again.
  • Guest：We booked and stayed for five days on our family trip to Guangzhou, and were only notified upon arrival that many floors and amenities were closed for maintenance, including the kids’ club. The front desk service requires significant improvement. There were no smiles, and the staff seemed rather cold when receiving us, which gave a poor first impression. When we asked questions about local metro routes, the way the answers were given or not given was upsetting. Housekeeping was also an issue, as the room was not properly cleaned on subsequent days, which became quite frustrating. If you are travelling with kids or seniors, be prepared for at least a 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station. Luckily, there was a nice coffee shop in the mall downstairs, which we enjoyed the most. Sadly, we didn’t even take a single photo of the unit, but the highlight was having a washing machine with a dryer in the room ??
  • Guest：The service and location were good. the staff were helpful. The gym was under maintenance unfortunately so we could not use it. The check in location was on the 6th floor so we had to make our way to the 6th floor for check in. The DiDi pickup was a bit tricky as the GPS could require us to go to the mall instead of the hotel but we realised on the last day that there was an option in DiDi to specify the lobby as the pick up point.
